AGM/NEW Winter Season

Thanks to everyone that attended last nights AGM

Unfortunately Dave Russon had to resign his post as Chairman of the league due to ill health. I would personally like to thank Dave for all his help with running the league over a number of years.

Steve Gough agreed to become the NEW Chairman of the league, many thanks to Steve for agreeing to this. Mark Johnson agreed to carry on as Secretary and Eileen Steven agreed to carry on as Treasurer.

It was agreed the NEW Winter league season would start on Wednesday 25th September with the fixtures meeting the week before on Monday 16th September at the Ruddington Estate Club.

I will get NEW season registration forms in the post to everyone this week. I will also put them on the website as downloads, so watch this space!

Annual General Meeting 2013

This year's AGM will take place on Monday 19th August - 8pm at Radcliffe RBL.

If you wish to make any amendments to the rules of the league please get these to Mark no later than Monday 5th August so these can be distributed to all clubs before this meeting. Likewise if you wish to stand for any official positions within the League please let Mark know by this date.

Summer Cup 2013 Format

Due to us only having 3 teams interested in playing in a competition this Summer I have come up with the following format.

All matches between all teams take place at one of the 3 venues each week.


Games are arranged so each team plays each other each week in all formats:
Darts Pairs, Darts Singles, Dominoes Pairs.

Therefore each team will play each other each week in a Best of 6 match
(2 Darts Pairs, 2 Darts Singles, 2 Dominoes Pairs)

The format of an evening will be as follows:
6 x Darts Pairs (701 start)
6 x Darts Singles (501 start)
6 x Dominoes Pairs (61 holes)

Games will take place each week at the following venues:
26th June - Manvers Arms R-o-T
3rd July - Lady Bay
10th July - Forest Supporters Club
17th July - Manvers Arms R-o-T
24th July - Lady Bay
31st July - Forest Supporters Club

Summer Cup 2013

We are now taking entries for this years Summer Cup competition which will start on Wednesday 19th June 2013. The competition will be played between June - August. This will allow for a short break before the next winter league season starts in September.

The competition will be played in the same format as previous years with teams playing home and away fixtures with the possibility of a knockout stage later depending on numbers.

All games will be best of 9 legs.

• 3 legs of darts pairs - 701 start
• 3 legs of darts singles - 501 start
• 3 legs of dominoes pairs - 61 holes

A player can play one game of each of the 3 disciplines, so a minimum of 6 players are required to form a team.

Some people would have noticed the year date errors on the forms I handed out at Fridays presentation, these have been updated in the downloadable versions!
